100% New Zealand owned, C&R Developments was established in Cambridge in 1998, by the four Ross brothers. The former owners of Baker Construction Ltd, managing directors Mike, Tony, Tim and Simon have over 40 years’ experience in earthmoving. Our hands-on approach means that when you deal with us, you deal with the owners of the business.

Our experience encompasses all New Zealand geological structures and conditions. Whether you require bulk earthworks or an emphasis on the finishing touches, we meet and surpass the most stringent standards - having won awards for our environmental work.

We own and operate a wide selection of heavy plant able to take on the toughest and most demanding jobs.  Our plant is continually maintained and updated, and can be hired to suit your application, specifications, and timeline. Our operators are highly-skilled and motivated, with in-house training to hone core skills.  Plant repair, refurbishment, and maintenance is carried out in our Cambridge workshop, keeping our machinery up and running.
